Courage for colour pays off: The Schüller exhibition stand received the ICONIC AWARD
On the occasion of the LivingKitchen, the international kitchen event at the imm cologne in January 2017, the Franconian kitchen manufacturer fully concentrated on the topic of colour. A decision which has obviously paid off as proven by the receipt of the ICONIC AWARD 2017 for the exhibition stand.
Schüller convinced the jury with an innovative stand design setting the Colour Concept into the focus of interest. Visitors were welcomed by a fascinating world of colours true to the motto “experience kitchens I design the future”. The company once again demonstrated an outstanding competence regarding the processing of environmentally friendly lacquers.
On more than 500 square metres of exhibition space, in differently varnished wooden cubes of maritime pine, Schüller presented elaborate concepts concerning the kitchen of tomorrow − adapted to different target groups. The main focus was put on the presentation of realistic kitchen solutions designed for “real life”.
The exhibition was rounded off by different competence areas. A kitchen configurator integrated on the stand called in order to test the effects of various colour tones. One separate exhibition area each was dedicated to the exclusive appliance brand of JUNO as well as to the ceramic and quartz stone collection of Systemo. As a highlight, the new corporate film having been especially produced for the LivingKitchen, inspired the visitors.
“Not only our next125 premium collection had already received several prestigious design awards, but also the fact that the exhibition stand concept received the ICONIC AWARD, once again demonstrates the high design competence of Schüller,” concludes the executive board of the Schüller Möbelwerk KG.
Integrally networked − The ICONIC AWARD initiated by the internationally renowned Council for Design awards visionary architecture, innovative products and sustainable communication from all branches of the architecture, the construction and real estate industry as well as the manufacturing industry in five main categories. Thus, competition concentrates on the elementary importance of interaction between individual trades. The focus is set on integrated and consistent staging of architectural products. An independent and expert jury decides on granting the ICONIC AWARD.
