Celebrating One Year of Innovation and Community at InHouse Inspired Design, Hexham.

InHouse is thrilled to celebrate one year since its grand reopening, following an extensive refurbishment. In 2023, the business saw acquisition by Schüller Möbelwerk KG, a prestigious European kitchen brand. Over the past year, the showroom has become more than just a space to explore stunning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and utility rooms—it has become a vibrant hub for the local community.

Since reopening, InHouse on Bridge End Industrial Estate Hexham have welcomed hundreds of customers and community members through the doors, offering unique experiences that showcase not only premium home interiors but also commitment to bringing people together. The showroom, featuring over 50 fully designed kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and utility displays, has been the setting for a wide range of engaging events.

From monthly exclusive cooking demonstrations led by Clara Nicholl and talented local chefs to hands on festive wreath-making workshops with local florists, events have provided inspiration and education in equal measure. “Last Spring we were honoured to have Steven Murray, a Hexham based chef consultant, with us to host local sports teams that we proudly sponsor. Members of Tynedale Rugby Club attended the fun evening, developing new culinary skills in our state-of-the-art kitchens. It really means a lot to us that we can connect with our community, sponsors and their networks!” said Jade Hunter, Marketing Manager. “Additionally, local business forums and small businesses have utilised the modern boardroom facilities for training, networking, and professional development. Tynedale Hospice regularly host meetings here and Insync Physiotherapy used the space for first aid training – it’s such a flexible space and we welcome all types of businesses, free of charge!”.

“In this corner of Hexham, there are so many great businesses.” noted Claire Murray, Financial Controller, “It’s been our pleasure to partner with them and get to know their customers. We held an event with Matthew Ferguson, owner of Hexham gym Ferguson Fitness, where over 30 guests completed a workout then joined us in our showroom for refreshments. Clara Nicholl Catering cooked up healthy bakes and brunch. It was such a friendly, fun morning! Hopefully another will take place in the Spring.”  

Lucy Clarke, assistant showroom manager said “When revamping the showroom, our vision was to create a space that goes beyond home design and interiors – a destination where creativity, collaboration and community thrive. Many of us working here are from Hexham, so it’s important for us to welcome the community and get involved with fabulous town events such as the elf trail, Hexham Santa and Christmas window displays. Seeing the incredible response over the past year has been truly rewarding. Everyone is welcome to come along to events held here. Bi-monthly we have Clara Nicholl hosting themed cooking events on an evening, providing easy solutions and fresh ideas to busy families. Annually in October, we host a German celebration event - Local chefs demonstrate exclusive recipes in the kitchens and guests enjoy nibbles, treats, refreshments and takeaway recipe cards. We look forward to continuing to host inspiring events and providing exceptional home solutions.”
