InHouse Inspired Room Design Ltd (hereon in referred to as "we", "us" or "our") customers’ privacy is critically important to us, and we are committed to protecting it. We have a few fundamental principles:
- we don’t ask you for personal data unless we truly need it;
- we don’t share your personal data with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products or protect our rights;
- we don’t store personal data on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of one of our services; and
- you decide which of your personal data we receive and the purpose for which we can process or use it.
We ensure we meet our legal obligations under the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
We operate the website known as inhouseltd.co.uk. It is our policy to respect your privacy regarding any personal we may collect while you visit our website.
This privacy policy (the "policy") informs you about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of your personal data and how you can exercise your data protection-related rights.
Scope
This policy applies to all personal data processed by us across our website: https://www.inhouseltd.co.uk.
Personal data we collect
We may collect the following categories of personal data:
- Identity Data (e.g. name and title);
- Contact Data (e.g. email address, telephone number and postal address);
- Financial Data (e.g. bank account details and payment information);
- Technical Data (e.g. IP address, our login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating systems and platform, and other technology on the devices you use to access our website);
- Profile Data (e.g. job title and relevant place of work);
- Usage Data (e.g. information about how you use our website and products); and
- Marketing and Communications Data (e.g. preferences for receiving information from us).
We do not collect any special categories of personal data about you. Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.
Data retention period
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal or contractual requirements.
To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purpose for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and any applicable legal or contractual requirements. For example, we will retain your personal data in accordance with our warranty periods:

By law, we have to keep basic information about our customers (including Identity, Contact, Financial and Transaction Data for six years after they cease being customers for tax purposes.
Upon expiration of the retention period, personal data is either deleted or, if it has been processed for the purpose of a project, we may archive it.
Data we retain: non-personally identifying information
Like most website operators, we collect non-personally identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as:
- browser type;
- language preference;
- referring site; and
- the date and time of each visitor request.
Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how visitors use our website. From time to time, we may release non-personally identifying information as aggregated data, e.g. by publishing a report on trends in the usage of our website.
Data we retain: personally identifying information
We also collect potentially personally identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. We do not use such information to identify website visitors, and do not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that we use and disclose personally identifying information, as described below.

Certain visitors to our website choose to interact with us in ways that require us to gather personally identifying information. The amount and type of personal data that we gather depends on the nature of the interaction.
How we collect your personal data
We collect personal data through:

- third parties (e.g. analytics providers, advertising networks, search information providers (for example Google), business partners, service providers and regulatory authorities).
Aggregated Statistics
We may collect statistics about the behaviour of visitors to our website. For instance, we may monitor the most popular blogs on the inhouseltd.co.uk site. We may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, we do not disclose personally identifiable personal data other than as described below.
How we use your personal data
We use your personal data:
Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you or your organisation, and you fail to provide that personal data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you or your organisation (for example to provide you with a product). In this case, we may have to cancel a product you have with us but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.
Disclosure and protection of Personally Identifying Information
We may disclose personally identifying information to our employees, contractors, suppliers, agents and trade partners, affiliated organisations and others for the reasons set out above. For example, we may share personal data to:
(i) organisations with a need to know in order to process products on our behalf or to provide services available on our website;
(ii) professional advisers including lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers who provide consultancy, banking, legal, insurance and accounting services;
(iii) our IT, accounting, marketing and platform providers for example Winner, Anthill, Xero, Microsoft, Mango Marketing and Transform;
(iv) HM Revenue & Customs, regulators and other authorities who require reporting of processing activities in certain circumstances; and
(vi) third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer or merge parts of our business or our assets or where we undertake any internal reorganisation or restricting. Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with them. If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal data in the same was set out in this policy.
Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organisations may be located outside of the UK. Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the UK, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring at least one of the following safeguards is implemented:
- we will only transfer your personal data to countries that have been deemed to provide an adequate level of protection for personal data; or
- where we use certain service providers, we may use specific contracts approved for use in the UK which give personal data the same protection it has in the UK.
We will not rent or sell personally identifying information to anyone.
Other than in the above circumstances, we only disclose personally identifying information when required to do so by law or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our property rights, third parties, or the public at large.
Personal data use for marketing purposes
If you are a user of our website and have supplied your email address, we may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, request for feedback or keep you up to date with our business activities and our products.
You can opt into these emails via our website. You can opt out of receiving these emails at any time by interacting with the relevant Mailchimp opt-out facility in our emails.

They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
